About the event
Building off the revolutionary information we learned on Friday, an extremely limited amount of riders will work 1-1-1 with Tina, their horse, and themselves. Tina will do both static and dynamic assessments of your animal, in hand and/or in the saddle. In your 90 minute session, Tina will go through your entire horse from a soft tissue perspective, including a movement assessment, postural balance assessment and develop with you a personalized program that you can take home to do to continue to help and get the best out of your athlete. Be sure to bring a friend to take notes or record a video diary as this will be an action packed time for you to learn and focus on your equine.Â
Tina’s approach and belief to bring out the best in your horse is to work very closely as an integral part of an athlete’s wellness team along with your veterinarians, farriers, equine dentists, and trainers, to develop a plan of action that will address good health and increase performance of the entire animal. This commitment to working in conjunction with the entire wellness team of each client is rooted in the knowledge that interaction of the entire team provides that most benefit to each equine and canine athlete – not simply the management of isolated symptoms.
Tina utilizes nutritional knowledge and training, herbal and homeopathic supplements, massage, aromatherapy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, acupressure, red light therapy, stretching, crystal therapy, Kinesiology tape, exercise programs and spinal range of motion in all sessions to reach ultimate levels of good health. Having knowledge in different modalities of soft tissue treatment enables Inhand to bring a varied approach to deal with muscle soreness and dysfunction. Because not all problems in a body will respond to one modality, Tina’s wide array of experience and tools allows the flexibility to work with athletes in the best form for them, and you.
Tina is a EST and EEBW3, and IEBWA board member. She has mentored and trained directly under the likes of Dr. Kerry Ridgeway, Dr. Hilary Clayton, Dr. Deb Bennett, Debranne Pattillo, Dave Collins, multiple Equinology practitioners and the Upledger Institute. To say you will learn more than a few things on this evening from Tina, would be an understatement! Â
